Exhilar was born from a strong desire to provide innovative solutions as systems integrators. They specialize in bringing together component subsystems of our solutions (IT/ITES, surveillance, and automation) and ensuring that these subsystems function together.
The company started their journey from this idea, and grew from strength to strength.
2011
Exhilar started their journey by digitizing books for the Dubai Ministry of Education. Their very first innovation was creating a digital code to read Arabic from right to left. From there, they began work with the Indian government to provide innovative solutions for government departments, thus reaching a new market.
2013
They implemented a biometric time-based attendance system for assigned employees of the NREGS on a district level. This system ensured safe and authentic calculation of wages and payouts to the beneficiaries’ accounts and introduced geotags to ensure employee productivity.
After witnessing incidents of fake claims under NREGS, the government decided to adopt their next-generation technology like biometrics and geotags to mitigate identity fraud by accurately verifying beneficiaries. This successful implementation was accepted by the government, and thus, Exhilar became a trusted government resource.
2014
By 2014, Exhilar was operational in 4 districts of Tamil Nadu. In their second grand initiative, they raced against the clock to supply and deliver 12674 computers, printers, and laptops to various districts in Tamil Nadu in one month, within the government-allocated budget. Their logistics included setup and one year of warranty.
2016
When the L & T IDPL Division discovered that vehicles in Krishnagiri and Vaniyambadi were deviating from the set route to avoid paying toll booth charges, their first call was to Exhilar. They installed Speed Dome Cameras in toll booths’ existing Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. Through this, they prevented the daily financial loss tolls booths faced.
They also started supporting the Chief Minister’s special security team through their innovative product line.
2017
As Exhilar touched their sixth year, they expanded their operations in 16 districts of Tamil Nadu. They worked with the Pollution Control Board to setup a Waste Management Centre in a strategic initiative for the management of biomedical waste.
As Data and Digital is essential for automation, Exhilar made sure the hospital managed waste from its inception to final disposal. Their monitoring of the biomedical waste was digitized.
2018
Exhilar pioneered another new technology through their surveillance system for the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, by setting up 3000 cameras in 259 godowns and erecting two live screens of a 7×17 capacity, making them the first in Tamil Nadu to introduce a video wall of this size.

2019
They catered to government employees in a tie-up with Samsung and their BYOD technology to supply the employees phones with strong damage protection. Side by side, they innovated for a new audience by modifying Samsung’s corporate product Nox for school students, adding parental control to decide what their kids could see while using the phones.
2020
Exhilar’s growth and reliability over Tamil Nadu was highlighted when theirs was the only government project held during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their innovation came to the fore when they set up the first iPv6-based surveillance project (as confirmed by the OEM) in 90 days in 3000 TASMAC locations to improve store security.
They also installed explosion-proof cameras for the BHEL to ensure the security and effective working of the company’s boilers in the factories, operational all over Tamil Nadu.
2021
As their tenth anniversary approaches, Exhilar looks back at their past successes. Side by side, they also look forward to fulfilling their vision of providing custom surveillance, automation, and IT/ ITES solutions to people around the country and world.
They are currently hard at work on research and development related to cloud-based technology, and looking at integrating IoT and AI into their evolving product lines. Exhilar’s journey is just beginning…
